Grandpa Steve's birthday party

Monday night we had grandpa Steve's birthday party. Everyone was there except for Todd who unfortunately was at scout camp. I'll bet he would have rather been with us. We went to the nature park. We ordered pizza and had salads and stuff. It was a beautiful evening. There weren't even mosquitoes which was surprising. The kids had fun on their bikes and playing in the water. The adults all enjoyed visiting with each other. I just want to tell dad happy birthday. He is 64. I love you and appreciate you. We hope you had a great party!!!!

Utah here we come

July 17th we headed off to Utah. This is the only time for the rest of the summer that we could get away. Between the boys football and grain harvest quickly approaching this was it. We left Friday and were planning on coming back Saturday. Me, Brenan, Kaden and Allie left earlier in the day. Rachel and Kendall came after they got off work. We had never been to Hogel Zoo and Allie wanted to go so we went there first. Kaden complained the whole time. Rachel and Kendall didn't make it even though I had bought their tickets. They close the gates at 5:15. They got there at 5:20 and couldn't get in. We did that then met them at the hotel. We were going to go to the Conference Center tour but the pioneer program was taking place so we went to Gateway Mall. We ate there and then did a little shopping. We went back to the hotel and played cards. We were supposed to have a room with two doubles in it. They kept giving us one King size bed. We had to change rooms three times but they finally got it right. Saturday was the day to head to Park City. We always go school shopping up there at the outlet malls. We get pretty good deals. We shopped all day. We got most of their shopping done. We headed back to Salt Lake and had to go to the Nordstrom sale and to Cabella's for the guys. It was late. They all talked me into staying one more night. I had to be to Matt's mission President's report on Sunday but I had bought a dress so they said I could just meet them there and that would work. It was nice not having to drive home so late that night. We played cards again It was midnight by the time we finally got to bed. Sunday we drove home. It was a quick trip but we had a lot of fun.

Here are the boys at Hogel Zoo measuring against the gorilla's pretty close match up in all ways. ha ha

Movie Night at the Robison House

So this is movie night at the Robison house. Yes it is all of 8:30 p.m. It took them about 10 minutes before they were both snoring. It's a good thing I enjoy my own company!!

Wisdom teeth....YUCK!!

Today both Kaden and Brenan had their wisdom teeth out. It is quite funny. Rachel had 4, Matt had 1, Brenan had 3 and Kaden had 2. Matt and Kaden better hope that that is not the amount of wisdom they have. We had to be in IF at 8:00 this morning. They knocked them out and took them out. Kaden's were easy they were both on the top which is the easiest place to have them. Brenan had one on the bottom. We had to get medicine and I had a couple of errands so we did that. They just slept in the car. When we got on the freeway Brenan got sick. I think he had swallowed to much blood. His were bleeding pretty good. We had to stop on the side of the freeway for him to spit out all the gross stuff. We finally made it home. Brenan is a little grouchy when he is sick. Kaden did fine. Brenan slept most of the day as you can tell from the pictures and Kaden played Xbox. That is the end of the wisdom teeth for this family other than Dave who still has two and refuses to let them take them out unless he has a problem with them.

Relay for life and Rachel's birthday!!!

Melanee put together a relay for life team. Aunt Heddy was in charge this year and asked her to get a team together so we did. It was a lot of fun. It was a really neat experience. It rained right before it was to begin. In fact it downpoured and the wind blew a zillion miles an hour. It blew all the tents down and caused all sorts of havoc. The relay went on, just a little later than planned.

This is us at 6:00 p.m. waiting for the race to begin. See how wide awake and happy everyone is

Rachel and Allie waiting for the relay to begin

Jeff and grandma Sutton got to carry the banner for the cancer survivor lap!!
It was pretty emotional to have each cancer survivor say their name and then they took a lap.

The second lap was for the caregivers and loved ones of the survivors. Here is all of grandma's loved ones who came to support her!!!

Here is our team for the relay. Once the relay begins someone from your team should be walking on the track at all times. This is to go until 6:30 a.m. Boy don't we look excited and ready to begin!!

Here we are at midnight. This just happened to be Rachel's birthday. We had party hats and blowers. We had a Happy Birthday banner and delicious cupcakes to celebrate the festive occasion.

Our whole team walked around the track at midnight with Rachel singing Happy Birthday and blowing our noise makers.

Here is the birthday girl!!

Here she is ready to blow out her candles.

Here we are at 5:00 a.m. My team bailed on me an hour early. It was cold and wet but it really was a great experience. Kelten walked a ton of times around the track. He only took a couple of hours of sleep. I made it thirteen miles total. This will be my half marathon the only problem is it took me ten hours but thats ok.
Rachel Happy late birthday. You are the greatest. I am so grateful to have you as a daughter. It would be awful boring around here if you weren't here for me. Thanks for being a great daughter. We all love you tons
HAPPY 25th!!!!!!!!!
