Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving at our house.  It was a little hectic because we went to the cabin and were supposed to come home on Tuesday so I could get everything ready.  We got snowed in and didn't end up getting here until Wednesday night at around 6:00 so everything is a little uptight.  We stopped at Broulims in Rigby and got the groceries I think we needed.  Brenan got some smart idea to bring home Alli's brothers snake.  This is him scaring Kaden with it.We had everyone this year.  It was a lot of people in the house.  Dave said there are too many people to do it at a house.  It was fun to have everyone here though.  We of course watched football, looked at ads.  Made blankets to donate and the boys went hunting.  The usual for Thanksgiving.

Snowed in at the cabin

The week before Thanksgiving we rented a cabin in Island Park.  It was a lot of fun we wanted to do it before Brenan left.  He loves staying at cabins.  The cabin was absolutely gorgeous.  We loved it.  They had a ton of snow already but this was when the huge storm hit.  We were supposed to come home on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving but we got snowed in and ended up having to stay until Wednesday.  What a horrible thing to have to stay an extra day in a beautiful cabin.  We had plenty of food but as soon as you think your snowed in everyone figured we would starve.  They rode to the store on the snow machines.  We were the only people at Silver Hawk it was very quiet and pretty.  We had a great time.  This is one thing we will definitely miss Brenan on. 

 Rachel didn't bring snow pants and wanted to see how deep the snow was so she put on a garbage bag.  It was pretty dang deep.

 We had a pool tournament with the whole family.  Kaden ended up winning.

Kadens football banquet

Kadens football banquet was on November 15.  This is Kaden receiving his award.  We had dinner.  It was a long night.  The football coach likes to talk.

He's 19

Brenan turned 19 on November 12th.  I was in Boise at a school board convention so we celebrated on Saturday and Sunday.  It's hard to believe he is 19.  Mandy was just commenting on remembering when he was born.  He came out stretched his arms big and looked around like watch out world here I am and that is how it has been ever since.  Oh then another classic Brenan started when he was born he peed right on the doctor.  He loves playing jokes on people and always seems to know just what buttons to push.  He is a great kid and makes our lives all a lot funner.  We love you Brenan you truthfully are the light of our lives your a great guy.  Love ya.

GOING to the TEMPLE

On November 4th Brenan went through the temple and took out his endowments.

It was a beautiful day.  We had a ton of support from our family.  We love and appreciate them all.

Everyone that came except for Todd and Denise who had an appointment to be to and Bishop Anhder who had a meeting.  We had a good turnout.
