Commencement Dance

Kaden's first Commencement Dance.  Last year he wasn't 16 so he wasn't able to go.  This year he went and with a very pretty girl I might add.  He went with Reigan Decker.  This was her last Commencement Dance because she graduates this year.  They had a lot of fun.  They went razor riding at the sand dunes for their day date.  They took sandwiches and had a great time.  They then went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner and then to the dance.  Kaden had a top hat that went with his tux.  One of the moms from his group got them for them and he didn't have it when he picked Reigan up.  Brenan took Reigan to at least 2 dances in high school and now Kaden one.  My boys must think she's pretty great.

The pictures of their group with their top hats.  Kaden loved his top hat.  He wore the whole thing to church the next day and you couldn't wipe the smile off his face.  Him and Brenan love to dress up in tuxes.  They are so not like their dad in that way.  Kaden is the one in the green vest.

Conference Weekend

I absolutely love general conference.  We rented a cabin for the weekend and enjoyed every minute of it.  Dave and Kaden took snowmachines up.  Rachel, Kendall, Kandice and I followed late Friday night.  Matt had went to his mission reunion so he came up Saturday morning.  Alli came up Sunday night.  We had a great time.  Kendall did mexican again and Ray Pocock and his family came along with Leif and Cindy.  I loved conference and had my favorite talks of course.  I can't wait to read them all again in the Ensign.  I did love President Uchtdorf and Elder Scott's.  The guys never did go snowmachining we all just kind of hung out and were lazy for the whole weekend.  We really missed Brenan because he loves going to a cabin.

It's a good thing we have technology we might get bored or something

Matt finally arrived

This might have been during conference or shortly.  They are really paying attention.  I think it was an "angry birds" competition

The asking and answering

Kaden asked Reigan Decker to Commencement.  He filled her car with shredded paper, balloons and a poster board with this saying...Sorry about the mess, I hope your answer is yes, so I can take you to the dance at RHS, so pop the balloons and take a guess, Of who gets to see you in your green dress.  Creative huh.  I should say that Rachel, Sha'Nell and Hailey came up with everything and did all the work.  Kaden was fishing.  Anyway this is Reigan answering Kaden back.  She hauled in a huge chalkboard and then her and her friend Alisha tried drawing her.  Dave and I even got into the drawing and we discovered that we are not artists.  Dave still claims he is but not so.  Reigan is much cuter than the drawing we came up with.  On her drawing she said you didn't even have to "chalk" me into going to the dance with you.  She then put Easter grass and candy all over his room.  I told her she did not make it near messy enough compared to what her car looked like.

My "A" is filled

Well my "A" is filled it has been 4 months today since we dropped Brenan off at the MTC.  I am not feeling the same as when my "C" was filled.  He was still in the MTC and things were pretty boring.  I love having him out in the field and receiving his letters weekly.  It is so exciting to hear of all the things he is doing.  He has already had great success and had 3 baptisms at the end of March.  They have a couple more scheduled for the end of April which is hard to believe because they just tracted into them a few weeks ago.  I am loving having a missionary out again and I forgot how exciting and fun it is.

A call from Dalton Georgia

Yesterday when I got home from church I was working on dinner.  I got a call on my cell phone with a 716 area code so I answered and there was a little southern voice on the other end.  She asked if I was Sister Robison I told her yes.  She said this is Sister Anderson and I just fed your son a "greenie" meal.  She said when she gets new missionaries in her area she loves to fix a greenie meal.  She makes everything green for them.  She said he was a wonderful young man and is going to make a very good missionary.  I talked to her for a little bit asking about her family.  She has 6 kids, her oldest daughter died a few years ago most of them live close she has a daughter in Utah and two sons who are 27 and 29 still living at home.  She is a grandmother and great grandmother.  She lives in the Dalton East area so that is the area Brenan is in.  While we were talking she said well one of them is back at the door.  It was Brenan of course he had forgotten his camera.  I told her he would forget his head if it wasn't attached.  She said he was smiling from ear to ear.  I told her to tell him hi for me.  What a great thing to get to hear from people who are taking care of my missionary.  He looks happy and good.  Her son emailed me these pictures.  I so appreciate them.
