The bis proposal

The big proposal.  Matt asked Kandice to marry him tonight.  We had a great plan.  We had made up poems to direct her to different places.  It started with a note on her pillow that told her to shut off the lights and get in bed.  This is what she saw when she did that

She was then told to go to her car and inside her car was a dozen roses that then directed her to the temple where Matt was waiting.  It was all done with really cute rhyming poems from their dating time.

Here we are waiting for Kandice to come out to her car.  We wanted to get the whole thing on tape but we didn't do so good with that.  The funny part was she was so excited she didn't see the very nervous Matt standing on the sidewalk at the temple and drove right past him and out of the parking lot.  She had forgotten her cell phone.  She finally came back and leaped into his arms from the parking lot.  It's a good thing he is tough because she could have knocked him right over.  We then left and gave them a little privacy.  Oh by the way she said yes.

Brenan's chicks

Brenan decided he wanted to raise chickens.  He got the chicks but didn't get the warmer lamp to go with them so this is his ingenous way to keep them warm.  This is a light in his bedroom so he stacked everything up and set the tupperware, that he is keeping his chicks in, up under his light.

He thinks he is going to have meat and eggs for us.  We'll see how this all turns out.

Fun at the Robison's

Its either Ninja or Dave is trying out for cheerleader.
Kandice might be doing the Village Peoples YMCA.

Rachel said HE"S SAAAFE!!
On Monday night Dave had invited the bishopric over for family home evening.  Dave has really missed the singles branch for this reason.  We had to have family home evening every Monday.  Dave couldn't wait to get the kareoke out and show off his singing skills.  Here's the Bishop and 1st counselor doing a little Bon Jovi
Dave's kind of a moving picture taker
Trying hard Byron and his daughter McKenna
Bishop singing with his girls Shaylee and Alexa
Brenan and Alli thinking our bishopric might be a little over the edge.  We had a fun night.  It was fun having people over for family home evening again.  I think Dave wants to make it a regular occurance.

Playing catch up!

Allie pulling a face or maybe trying to kiss BrenanMarcy and Kandice.  Marcy I put the good picture on but still have the other for blackmail.  I think Kandice must be thinking about how much she misses Matt!!The car after doing some shopping.  We didn't have room when we left Rigby let alone after shoppingHere we are on our way home doesn't Kendall look thrilled I think he was holding my new crockpot. On to the next adenture in our lives was Alli's birthday.  Her parents were out of town so we adopted her for the night.  We went to Bajio's and then to play laser tag.  This is her, Kaden and Rachel trying to be all gangsta.  Here we all are after our laser tag.  It was pretty fun.  It was my first time and I got the most accurate.  Brenan won overall and Dave was the loser.  He said everyone just followed him around shooting him.
We then went to Alli's house to do the cake.  I made her brownies and figured she could take the rest to her apartment.  Here's Rachel and I putting 19 candles in the brownies

OK you are probably definetely wondering what this picture is about.  When we were in Boise I bought these pants for Kendall for a penny and told him he had to wear them to breakfast the next day.  We forgot and left them in the car so when they came out on Sunday this was what we got to see.  Rachel doesn't look to sure about the whole deal.  I think deep down he really liked the pants.  He is definetely sparkling.  They are all sequins in case you are wondering.  So there is our life for the last little while.

Pictures from Jerusalem

Well we'll see if this works.  I took over 500 pictures so here's about half of them.  They probably won't mean a lot without description but you can at least look.

Back from the Holy Land

What an amazing experience I had.  I loved Jerusalem.  I would love to go back in a few years.  I think it will take that long to recover from the plane ride.  We seen so much stuff that it was very tiring.  We would go from 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. most days. I had 5 favorites.  The Garden of Gethsemane was awesome.  There is a church that is in part of the place now.  They build Cathedrals everywhere that something good happened.  These tend to take away from the spiritual aspect but at the Garden of Gethsemane there is part of it that is locked up that not everyone gets to go in.  We got to got in it and it was amazing.  The spirit was definitely there.  We had a little devotional and then we had time to find somewhere to sit on our own and either read scriptures or just sit and enjoy.  It is a beautiful little garden.  After going there we went straight to Sacrament Meeting at the Jerusalem Center.  It has huge windows that overlook the whole city of Jerusalem.  That is their chapel so you look over the city while listening to the speakers.  We sang There Is a Green Hill Far Away but we had just been there.  It was quite the experience.  Another of my favorites was the Garden Tomb.  The Catholics believe this all happened somewhere else and built a cathedral over it but our prophets have said that the Garden Tomb is the place.  I got to go inside the tomb and see where Jesus was laid.  It was a beautiful peaceful place to be.  The wailing wall was another of my favorites.  Just to see how devoted the Jewish people are to their religion was very interesting.  It was so interesting to watch them pray and think they needed to be by the wall.  Another of my favorites was Nazareth.  They have made a place called Nazareth Village that they have recreated a huge area that is just like it would have been in Jesus day.  I learned so much here that I couldn't believe it.  My last favorite was Galilee.  We were here for two days and it was a great experience to see all the places that Jesus performed miracles and to go out on the Sea of Galilee.  We seen so much more but these were my favorite spots.  John and Kim Bytheway were on our tour so each night as we got back to the hotel we had a fireside given by him or Jim Gee our leader.  I really learned a lot about the scriptures at each of these.  I am a visual learner so seeing all the places that Jesus was has really opened the scriptures for me.  I suggest this trip to everyone.  I never felt nervous or felt unsafe.  It was great.  I would post pictures if I could figure out how to do a slideshow of them but I don't know how to do that.

I've been MIB (missing in blogging)

OK well you have probably wonderer what has happened to me.  We had the Orr party and Jana told me I had better start blogging so here I am.  I actually lost my camera this fall so I have been a horrible blogger but I am back with a contest of sorts.  We had our annual gingerbread house decorating.  Brenan, Alli's and Kadens were not so good.  Brenan ruined their's and Kaden got a little carried away and overloaded his till it fell apart.  We have Matt & Kandice's and Kendall & Rachels.  I cannot pick the winner so I am asking you bloggers out there to pick the winner.  You have until Christmas day to make your choice.  The first two pictures are # 1 and second two are # 2 so make your choices.  Leave your pick in your comments.  I know there is probably a technical way to do this but I am not that smart so just do it this way.  I will post more pictures later but I can't post them or you will know who's houses belong to who.  Thank you I am sure no one will sleep around here until we know the winner.
